I am a Russianist who focusses on the literature and culture from the sixties to the present. I am an associate professor at Texas Tech University. I teach language and literature classes at the undergraduate level. My research interests include the works of Vladimir Vysotsky, Sasha Sokolov, Alexander Bashlachev, Yana Diagileva, Chingiz Aitmatov, Timur Pulatov, Venedikt Yerofeev, and Maik Naumenko.
