I am a PhD candidate studying Russian history at the University of Kansas. My research is currently centering on women's lived experience during the opening of Siberia in the 17th and 18th centuries. I have completed a year abroad on a research fellowship (Fulbright), and have gathered census information, and other documents that can illustrate the status and activities of women in Siberia, and I seek to find out how DH can help me compile this data.
